Tour Description: This tour starts with a hotel pickup at 9 a.m. and returns at 2 p.m. Argyle Waterfall is situated in the borough of Roxborough, which is located approximately 35 minutes from Scarborough. The drive to get there takes you through the scenic palm-fringed Atlantic coastline, lush cocoa-plantations and many tiny villages with friendly locals. These falls are Tobago's highest waterfalls, tumbling 54m (175 ft) in a series of stepped cascades. There is a 15 - 20 minute nature walk from the parking lot off of the main Winward Road to the actual falls and lots of different flora and fauna can be seen. After arriving at the falls itself, visitors can walk around, hike up to the highest point, or simply take in the sounds and delights of listening to the water actually fall on the dramatic rock formations. Of course, on a hot day, there are several deep cool ponds for swimming.
